Kabul is a famous hostel but really the only thing I could find appealing is if you want to get drunk off cheap liquor, there was no other catch! I was extremely dissapointed.close

This was a great hostel, one of the best i've stayed in across Europe. It's location is excellent and everything is accessible from this location. THe communal areas encourage people to get to know eachother and it looked like everyone was having a good time.

You need to provide towels for rent. The walls were so thin, even on the fifth floor we couldnt sleep. Showers were terrible. A 15 euro key deposit is ridiculous.

i would suggest having outlets available in the rooms to charge things. it is a bit inconvenient to charge things in the bathroom, and no one wants to leave their iPod downstairs to charge.

If you are interested in sleeping at all don't stay here. It can be really fun, but it can also be miserable. There was an all night party in my dorm room that I did not appreciate whatsoever. The staff is rude, very, very rude. The main guy pretty much hates his job and all of his customers. The lockers were awesome, the best I've seen. It wasn't very clean and there were no doors on the showers. The location is really great. I had an absolutely horrible experience there, but I can see why so many people really recommend this place.close

very youth oriented, busy bar, small dorms, beds too short (aren´t they all) not so good for those wanting to be sober and up at 6 am and see sights all day but good if you want to party.

3rd time at kabul, as usual had a great time. met lots of wonderful people. will return no doubt to barca and kabul.

Very nice hostel to socialize but some bad things: - there are no plugs in the rooms which is annoying when having an ipod or laptop. if you want to party all day and night, this is the place to come. the lounge area turns into a rave from about 8pm till 2am. great for groups of traveling together for sure. if you are looking for a quiet easy going hostel, stay clear. sex, booze and rocknroll is here :)

The reviews are true - it's a party hostel catering to the younger crowd. It is Barcelona, but dont expect to sleep at Kabul during the day or night! The hostel's free walking tour was really worthwhile.

This is a party place. Good place to meet people. But it very noisy. Sometime can be hard to sleep. Bed are small. I'm 5'.8" and I barely fit in. Good Location. I got a good time.

Had so much fun here! Happy hour is great, and location is awesome. Dinner is not much but it's free and after happy hour it goes down okay. Cleaners are very dedicated to their jobs so be prepared to be be ushered from your room or bathroom while they are at work! Would definately stay here again.

I do not recommand any kids to that hostel: people had sex in our dorm (20p), there was beer all over the floor (party during the day), one girl was so drunk that she peed on someonelses matress thinking it was the bathroom. The women's restrooms always ran out of toilet paper. I always had to walk into the men's restroom to get some. It would be useful to have more electricity sockets. really nasty receptionist 20 bed dorms that reek, have huge windows with no curtains so its hard to sleep Big bar with cheap beer which was cool, but that seems like it was all the place had to offer, which may be enough..

Great hostel in many ways. But....no towels unless you buy one for 10euros, one bathroom per floor and only 20 minutes of internet per day for 3 days. The walking tour led by Johanna is great though!!!

The best place ever!! the beer cost 1,50 euro in happy hour and 3,00 euro all day!! I love this hostel and i´m will come back soon!!!!!!! THANKS!!!

Excellent breakfast thought it is not is buffet one. The toilets are a bit dirty as they are shared by the more than 30 people. Staffs are so helpful to help me to get rid of people occupying my bed. Also, the bar downstairs so fun that I would like to stay in this hostel again.

since the hostel itself is full of crazy people and everybody party hard, few things tend to go out of control. I.E. going to my bed, i Found another person blind drunk sleeping on my bed.

We had really high hopes for Kabul after all the rave reviews we read. However, it was not an environment condusive to sleeping, showering, etc. The bigger rooms STUNK. Smoking is allowed in the lounge downstairs, and all that odor crept upstairs, so by the time we left, everything we own smelled... more We had really high hopes for Kabul after all the rave reviews we read. We checked out two days early and found a really cheap hotel on Las Ramblas. Much better. Hot showers and non-stinky rooms.close

I had the 4 bed room and it was the size of a jail cell. The best part of the hostel is the location, really central. Definately a place for people that plan on partying and not sleeping. The lounge area is pretty great to meet other travelers...the crowd was a little young when we were there.

A very nice Hostel with an excellent location. Fun staff. Simple though free bite, every morning and evenings. Even a tour round the city which I truly enjoyed is provided from the hostel. A hostel to return to.

Staff definitely not friendly (rude!). When I arrived there my bed was dirty (like if another person had slept there few hours before) and they didn't do anything (told me to sleep in a sleeping bag!!!). Dirty hostel. No kitchen.
