They shouldn't close the common room at 11. What is the point of having a common room where everyone can sit and enjoy themselves if they close so early. They also treated us like we were children and wouldn't let us sit in the lobby past the time that the staff person was going to leave.

This was a really nice hostel in an AMAZING location. All of the staff weren't the friendliest, but on the whole it was a great stay and I'd definitely recommend it to others!

at first time, it's hard to find but once you get there, it's ok. and it's very small hostel so you cam meet many people. so feel cozy and comfortable. and if you had a laptop, you can use Wi-fi for free 24/7. but the room was kinda noisy even it's located at the inside of small street.

The double rooms are in a seperate building across the street. The rooms looked really clean and were good but the building looked really shabby. We had no problems and a good stay at Itaca. For

Great hostel, shame that the kitchen wasn't open for breakfast, but excellent location. If you want a party hostel, don't stay here, but if you want a nice place to relax after a day wandering through Barca, this is the best!

a trully good place and a great combination of price/quality. It is located in the very heart of Barcelona's Gotic quarter on a quiet and safe street. both room and showers were very clean, kitchen is well equiped. The room even had a very nice design. The staff is nice. originaly booked a 6~8 beds room on-line, turn out to be put in a 10 beds room which is relatively small, hardly find a socket to charge my digital camera. generally speaking, it's a nice place to stay, apart from the narrow stairs to struggle.

One of the better hostels we've stayed in over 4 months, evrything is excellent, bathrooms and kitchen clen and fully equiped, for some reason no one ever locked the room door but we had no problems, really good crowd there.

I signed up for a dorm room with 6 beds when I got there I was put in a dorm room with 16 beds. This happened to multiple people durring the days I was there. Otherwise great location, very close to the cathedral and la rambla.

I had a great time. The location was perfect and the staff were really friendly. I would recommend staying at Itaca for a weekend in Barcelona when time is precious as the central location is great.

Very loud and annoying people in the dorm at night. Location is great and staff is friendly, however there are many more people in the room than the description tells you and 26 euro for a dorm is pretty expensive.

Great location, nice rooms, the cleanest hostel I've stayed at, friendly staff, good security! I really liked this hostel. The only thing that I thought was a minus was the curfew (4-7am)

Very good accommodation for the price. Very clean. However the building is held together with scaffolding making it feel a bit unsafe. We had no problems though.

Annoying timed faucets and lights in bathrooms. Not quiet, and bigger more populated rooms than advertised. Great location, no free breakfast. Spotty internet access (not free). Very helpful staff that spoke good English.

It's right by Las Ramblas and the Cathedral. A great laid back atmosphere, just remember there's a curfew.

Check in wasn't until 2 which seemed a bit late to me. The private rooms are all in another building with a kitchen and a bathroom. It was very private and clean. It felt like you had your own apartment. Staff was helpful.

The dorm rooms were huge and kind of dark, but I didn't actually spend much time there, so it was fine. And the location is right near the cathedral, which was pretty cool. It was a good base for exploring the city.

nice located at the centre but difficult to find. one should make two left turn when you see the starbucks next to the police station. staff should be more friendly. not enthusiastic enough though.

A spotlessly clean hostel in a really central location. The flats are a couple of streets away from the main hostel. Well worth considering for a stay in Barcelona!
