Great hostel, a little hard to find, but I had a great stay in Barcelona thanks to these guys. The shower I had there was the best I've had in ages !

Was fantastic, staff were so helpful thought would be far away by looking at map, once you get good at subway (very easy) getting DT is a breeze and takes 10 mins from the time you leave hostel felt VERY safe there excellent security. CONS: breakfast is not a real bfast; cereal and toast -i'm lactose intol so cereal was a no go. still got the job done though -dude sleeping under me needed to be introduced to a shower -tough to find cons when reviewing travel tips: YOU WILL BE PICK-POCKETED/ROBBED while in barcelona litterally every group in our hostel (very good bunch) had someone who was robbed. read up on scams before you go and buy one of those under the clothes wallets. the robbing starts as soon as you get to the city so be careful. other than that, had a fantastic time, beautiful city, fantastic hostel. best part of the hostel was the staff - so helpful and we would not have gotten half of what we got to do done had we not had the staff available. would recommend to anyone.close

This place is a great place to meet others. It has a kitchen, free breakfast and a cute livingroom to sit in. It is so close to the metro so is very easy to get anywhere in Barcelona. There are lockers inside of the bedrooms so you dont need be worried about your stuffs. I would recomend this... more This place is a great place to meet others. Clean and comfortable. Good lounge and kitchen areas. The staff were possibly the friendliest and most helpful hostel staff I've met.

pretty good hostel overall. a bit far out of the very centre (12 mins on metro) but the staff are super friendly and helpful, there are free movies, free internet and a somewhat unsatisfying breakfast. overall not a bad stay, just a bit noisy with the swipe key system!

it was so much fun, relaxed staying for 2 days. all the staffs were nice to everyone, also inside the hostel was quite pretty :) only the week thing was the location, but still, its gonna be perfect to football fans, camp nou is just in 10 mins on foot.

this is a bigger hostel that is a bit out of the city, not hard to get into the city by metro though. the dorms would be hot in summer but a good hostel with a decent kitchen. open 24 hours which was handy.

Our stay at Alberguinn was perfect. Great facilities and a very friendly and helpfull staff. We loved the common room's atmosphere - and not to forget the breakfast.

No clothes hangers in the showers but apart from that excellent. Very helpful and so friendly staff. Very clean! Breakfast was basic but adequate. I wanted to eat everything and everyone.I would definitely stay again.

The breakfast left something to be desired. Its around 10 minute walk from a metro, not bad, easy to get around. Staff friendly, sometimes missing but when there quick to answer questions. I liked the showers.

Try to avoid staying in the 14 bed door. There is WAY to many people coming in and out and the beds in that room (and pillows) are not comfortable. The 6 bed door is WAY better. A bit out of the way but the Metro makes it easy to get around.

I stayed at the alberguinne for 4 nights and found it a pretty decent hostel, really clean with very friendly staff! the only thing is that its not the most central location. The staff really did make this hostel better than it already is, they are so welcoming and helpful. The hostel itself isn't too far from the station, and everything is modern/clean. Breafast was more than adequate for the price, would recommend.

This hostel was a decent place to stay, was a metro ride from the centre of town. The hostel has great friendly staff and the place was really clean, and there was aircon at night only which was good. The rooms were small and breakfast was no-frills and less than I would expect.

Seriously safe hostel - they use keycards and have free lockers. Its a little bit far away from the main city but its excellent for meeting people. A good place for solo backpackers.

A fantastic hostel. Well located for arrivals/departures by train (and easily accessible to other areas by metro). The staff were friendly, the security (free lockers and luggage storage) was fantastic, and free internet/wifi always appreciated.
