A very beautiful building, quiet but central location, beautiful view from the balcony. Excellent service and spotlessly clean! Breakfast was sufficient, with toast, juice and coffee. No complaints!

Great location! Wonderful staff-Monte was very helpful and spoke very good English. Very close to metro stop in safe area. Kitchen was useful with fridge and mirco-super market two blocks. Good value! Highly recommend!

Very pleasant, nice staff. Perhaps a little over-priced, but that may have more to do with its location (in Barcelona, and near the centre of the city) than anything else. Recommended.

A great hostel with a superb location, just round the corner from Casa Milla and Casa Battila. Monti on reception was more thatn willing to help with any problems we encountered on arrival.

nice room, had breakfast nook & good-sized bathroom. good location too, very near metro, good cafes, shops. be sure to arrange your breakfast time in advance (they bring it to your room) -- otherwise you may be waiting a bit.

The staff are really friendly and more than willing to make sure that your stay is pleasant with them. It is also in an amazing location just a few blocks from Las Ramblas one of the most popular streets in Barcelona which has many resturaunts and bars to sit and take in the spanish lifestyle. The only thing is make sure to follow their directions since its not clearly marked on the front of the building so when you first arrive it can be confusing other than that I would chose to stay here when I got back to Barcelona again one day!close

A bit difficult to find at first because i was looking out for a hostel sign but there wasnt any. Had to look for the address. But the staff sent me an email giving directions which was helpful. Diagonal Metro station on the next corner but didnt use it as there are 2 Gaudi sights on the next street (3 mins walk). Used the tour buses to get around. Get on and off as many times u like and the bus brings you to all the fabulous sights. Easy peasy! Our room was spotless with a view from the balcony. Shared bathroom was obssessively clean with a bath or power shower. Breakfast of toast, coffee and juice was sent to our room as well. The staff was very helpful but wasnt a strong english speaker but i guess that's how u'll learn some spanish. Excellent if you're looking for a nice, cozy place to crash after a long day of sightseeing and a lot of cavaclose

Staff were helpful and the hostal was clean and tidy. We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom and a balcony. A simple breakfast (orange juice, toast, jam and coffee) is served into your room each morning at a time of your choice. We also purchased some drinks from the hostal at a very reasonable price, which we enjoyed on our balcony (a great bonus if the weather is nice). The hostal is located in a fairly quiet part of the city, but there are plently of shops and bars to enjoy in the immediate vicinity and all the major sights are no more than a couple of metro stops away (Diagonal metro station is very close to the hostal). If you are looking for the hostel experience, then the Suite Gaudi is probably not for you, as Spanish hostals are more comparable with B&B/budget hotel type accommodation.close
