Te dan toda la info necesaria para pasarla de 10 en Barcelona y no perderse de nada. Sin duda, chicos, hacen la diferencia y hacen que la gente quieran volver a su casa. Sigan asi, es clave. The owners of Mapamundo are very helpful and hospitality. The location is excellent, near the beach, Ramblas and Metro. Marcello gives us a lot of useful suggestions wear to eat/drink etc. Hostel was clean and comfortable. Because this hostel is located in "Barri Gotic" sometimes it's a little bit noisy at night, thanks to the earbuds which was provided by Mapamundo, we had nice stay. i haven't encountered this level of customer service anywhere, let alone a hostel. marcelo and his wife are excellent hosts. their place is clean and in a great area. can't recommend it enough

Looking at the building you would have never guessed what a lovely place the hostel is. Me and my friend felt safe and relaxed there. The beds were comfortable and the decorations were beautiful. This is a good place for people looking for a good place to sleep and rest after a long day.

Marcelo is a great host and would definitely stay there again. The location is great in the barrio gotico-- this neighborhood has a lot of great bars and restaurants. As it is in the process of transforming itself, the neighborhood can be at times a bit seedy. Overall a very good stay and would...

Mapamundo was a great place to stay. The location is nearly perfect. In 5 minutes you can walk to the habour and to rambla. The Hostel owner and his wife are very friendly and if you need an advice you can go to them. I can recommend this Hostel absolutely!!!

Mapamundo was a wonderful place to stay. It is in an excellent location, near to both the sea front and lots of places of interest (including la Ramblas). It is clean, comfortable and the owners are extremely welcoming and friendly.I would recommend this place everytime!

a very nice place to stay. in barri gotic a very nice area near the sea and the center. the owners are as friendly and helpful as possible and the (4room) apartment is very well decorated. darek and vasilis

Wonderful small cosy hostel. Beautifully furnished and clean. The location is fantastic and although a little noisy at nights,it adds to the character of the gothic quarter and ear plugs were provided. Which is just one example of the owners superb and welcoming hospitality.

Mapamundo is definitely a really good place to stay. The staff is really nice, they always want to make your trip better and help you for everything (map, where to go, where to shop, etc). Muy limpio el hostal y esta amueblado co mucho amor, se siente como en casa. Esta cerca de todo se puede caminar a pie. He recibido muy buenos consejos donde salir y comer. He disfrutado mucho estar alli.

Nice little guesthouse. Only a short walk to La Rambla. Nice rooms, but needed a fan during summer as was quite hot, and you couldnt sleep with the window open as there is a few bars downstairs and are quite noisy until early hours for the morning. If all you need is a place to sleep and shower this is a great place. The location is superb, close to the beach and all the other must see places. The bathroom is shared on 6 rooms, but I never found it dirty or disgusting. The building is old, but that just adds to the character of the place.

This hostel is awesome! It is more like a self contained apartment than a hostel- if you arent after the party atmosphere of a hostel, and are travelling in a group already this place is ideal. The owners are friendly, and even bought us earplugs to combat the Barcelona Night Life!! Thanks

Great location. A little bit noisey at night as it is so central, but it felt very private even though we were sharing the kitchen and bathroom with others. We would definately recomend it for the price.
