Our hostess was very friendly. We had access to a kitchen, everything was clean. The only negative was the cigarette smoke, which found its way into the rooms despite closed doors.

The place were excellent, extremely clean and comfortable beds! Alex is so helful. Location is great, you reach attractions on foot and also diagonal metro station is very close. Casa Diagonal is not close to Av. Diagonal. No address was provided in the confirmation email. Need to find out the exact location before reaching there.

Wi-Fi connection working, owner might invest in some pc for guests and in kettle ;] Staff speaking english very well. Great location. Highly recommend!

it's spacious, convenient location, friendly and helpful staff. the only thing is it's a little noisy as it's on Av. Diagonal, a busy street. But it's ok if you close the window at night. we have had a great stay.

Really nice place to stay even though it was hard to find due to wrong directions but they sovled it perfectly. Very caring and helpful staff, who made me feel more than welcome. Not bad place for staying there a couple of days. Our room was very poor, overlooks the small space between buildings, so no sun at all, bed was on the top, which is no bad, just be informed, in the room was ventilator. Our second night, we got locked out with our belongings inside. It took over an hour for someone to come help us get in, after we got help from a neighboring hotel. The hotel said many people came to them from Casa Diagonal needing assistance. We were relieved to check out on our last morning.close

Like many Spanish hostels, Casa Diagonal is more of a shared apartment than a hostel. It is at an excellent location if you want to avoid staying in the middle of over-touristed areas of Barcelona but still be close to everything. Dorothea, the care taker was very friendly and spoke excellent...

fantastic guest house, very familiar and graet atmosphere. the staff was great and helped us a lot (we miss u dorothea!!!) if u don`t want to stay in a noisy big hostel, this is the perfect alternative.

Great apartment, close to everything and far away enough from the trashy tourist zones. Really friendly and helpful owner, nice patio, good modern kitchen...terrific. We checked in very late and was no problem - a number of apartments will charge a late fee...

The place is beautiful and the people are super-nice and flexible. It's cheap and in a pretty good location. There isn't any air conditioning though.
