Patpong is notorious for its street lined with girlie bars with their "ping-pong shows" (use your imagination... not for the fainthearted, however it is predominantly a tourist attraction so worth a laugh). However the area is also fantastic for its market, selling knock off designer... more Patpong is notorious for its street lined with girlie bars with their "ping-pong shows" (use your imagination... not for the fainthearted, however it is predominantly a tourist attraction so worth a laugh). However the area is also fantastic for its market, selling knock off designer clothes, handbags and jewellery. Though a lot more expensive than other markets and areas in Bangkok, haggling is required and my advise would be to start very very low. You will never insult them no matter how much they say you are!close
