But the things that we did try were very memorable and worth going back to try again. The baths were great. The Roman-Irish bath especially. Hours later my muscles were still relaxed and I had never felt so clean in my life. The bus system gets you anywhere you need to go in Baden-Baden. And there are enough trains to get you there from other cities. Next time we visit Europe we are definitely including Baden-Baden on our list of places to stay.close

Top Rated Baden-Baden Places to Stay

  1. Hotel Schweizer Hof 89%

Booked this place based on the positive reviews on Boo and Tripadvisor. Disappointed overall. Rooms are essentially of "hostel" / 2 star quality level - large but the beds are the cheapest quality possible and fittings are best described as "minimalist". On the flipside, location is central,...

I stayed in the Waldhotel Forellenhof just this weekend past and found it be an excellent hotel in a great location for walking in the black forest and also for baden baden. Great spot full of character and hospitality.

  3. Rasthaus-Motel Baden-Baden 83%

The motel is one of Europe's most modern road-side inns. It is situated along the A5 motorway Karlsruhe-Basel just a few kilometres before the exit Baden-Baden, with access from both directions. It is located in the very heart of the 'Baden-Black Forest' region which is famous in Germany for its specialities from cuisine and wine cellar. This makes it a very special place for a brief stopover or a...

  4. Sunshine Accommodation 76%

Even the wifi didn't work at all as well as the tv, we must say it was a very good accomodation, very spacious and very well situated in the middle of the city. The staff was very good too. I highly reccomend it!

Top Rated Baden-Baden Attractions

  1. Christkindelsmarkt Baden-Baden / Christmas Market80%

    • What?

        A Christmas market.
    • Where?

        Close to the town centre.
    • Anything Else?

Running through the end of November and most of December, this seasonal market is a feast twinkling lights and entertainment. From handmade jewellery to wooden toys, stalls sell a wide range of gift items.

Very impressed with the Baden-Baden Christmas market. All the action centres on the stalls set up near the Kurhaus (casino) in the centre of Baden-Baden. Distinct focus on the German traditional food & drink -with gluhwein and wursts aplenty. This is probably as lively as Baden-Baden gets all year!!
