Far from town. Can get cheaper accommodation right outside the walls of the old town. Nice size room, but very dated. Nice bathroom (watch your step in the shower!) and lovely cold fridge.

nice place, a little out of the way, but workable with bus into city. very nice staff, all really helpful. nice apartment in kind of a mexican setting. good value for price

No daily cleaning, but was very suitable for family. Very helpful staff, and a lovely, friendly dog.

Loved the set-up of the room. Really enjoyed the ambiance. Very French! Had NO HOT WATER for two out of the four nights. And, regardless of the shuttle being complimentary, they were less than helpful in getting us to the TGV. The walking was good, but they need to picket to get a bus stop in front of their hostel, the bus run right in front of it to and from Avignon Centre. Other than all that, they were friendly, but could have been more courteous in informing us of the water complications!close

Accessible with a car, more like a motel than a hostel. Not many people there, good place to stay on a roadtrip, but not the typical hostel environment. Far away from most things, the historic district inside the castle walls looked fun, but difficult to find parking. Overall, would stay here again but don't have expectations of having a fun night, more of a place to crash when you've been driving all day. Also, there's no lockout but the reception closes at some point and they give you the gate code, call if you're going to be late. *** Pas difficile à accéder avec une voiture mais difficile à pied. Ce n'est pas l'environement typique d'une auberge, mais c'est une bonne endroit pour une arrêt pendant une voyage à voiture, c'est tranquille. Il est loin de presque tout, le centre historique semblait intéressant mais difficle à trouver une place pour garer la voiture. Aussi, attention à l'heure de votre arrivé, il n'y a pas un temps où on ne peut pas accéder l'auberge mais la réception ferme vers 20h (je pense) et ils vous donnent la code pour la porte pour entrer. On doit arriver avant qu'ils partent pour chercher les clés.close

The manager was not very helpful. Although the web site says that breakfast is included it isn't. Also they will not provide a shuttle service to and from the Avignon TGV - the manager said that he would only do it if you stay for 4 days or more. As it is a 10 min walk from the nearest bus stop... more The manager was not very helpful. Although the web site says that breakfast is included it isn't. Also they will not provide a shuttle service to and from the Avignon TGV - the manager said that he would only do it if you stay for 4 days or more. As it is a 10 min walk from the nearest bus stop it is not convenient to travel by bus if you have baggage. The manager called us a taxi and we were ripped off - he charged us 12 euro to travel about 1.5 (or 2km tops). To add insult to injury his dog urinated on my luggage. Do not stay at this place. Go to the Holiday Inn which is right near the bus stop.close

Long walk through an industrial park from the city centre. Not recommended for backpackers, there are better options there. Too expensive.

Pres de la gare, mais difficile d'acces en bus... Il y a tres peu de bus de l'hotel pour aller dans la ville d'avignon , donc je conseillerais cet hotel a ceux qui ont une voiture ou la possibilité d'en louer une. Sinon il faut faire avec les 5 navette de la journée.. OU se rendre au centre... more Pres de la gare, mais difficile d'acces en bus... Par contre, les gens sont vraiment bien acceuillant, il offre un excellent service. l'hotel est propre, et les chambre sont spacieuse, avec la possibilité de se faire a manger dans la chambre meme. J'ai adoré mon sejour!close

This is more a hotel than a hostel. It's a half hour walk out of town and there are no buses. The place it's self is clean and well-equipped though.

A great place to stay if you have a car. The apartment had its own kitchenette and mini lounge room which was nice. The staff were also really nice. Would definitely stay there again!
