The showers were too cold and mouldy, and the motion sensors in the toilets were annoying because the lights would keep going off! However, the blankets were nice and the rooms were nice and heated at night.

actually I read some reply about this hostel ...but that's about...bad story...(too dirty and..sth like that..) but it's quote good that I expect and maybe the main staff...old lady was really nice.^^

This is more a campsite than anything else, the rooms have no lockers so the security is pretty bad, but you can wash your clothes. The breakfast is okay. Avignon is 5 min by foot, which is fine.

Best value for money. I really liked it there. At first sight I wasn't to pleased with Avignon, but it turned out be an interesting city.

It's a walk in to town, but if you don't mind the area around bagatelle is beautiful and peaceful. Loved my stay.

The location is brilliant...the hostel has a view of the bridge and the papal palace. The staff were friendly & nice; it would have helped if they had more knowledge of the area/ city that they could share with us, so that we could plan our vacation better. For instance, one of the staff told us that the walk to the station (in order to catch our return train) was just 10 min. If we had followed this advise, we would have missed the train, because our walk took 25 min (we had luggage too).close

The accommation main door wasn't lock, someone can easy go inside the hostel. I suggest that the recepition should set up in the accommation not in the restaurant.

This hostel was within a shot walkin distance from the town and to be honest it wasn't a bad place to stay. The shower and toilet could do with a bit of work but i guess for the one night that i stayed in avignon (probably enough) is was a cheap and good place.

Though it is outside the city walls, the hostel is quite close to the center (like 10 minutes) and I cannot say location was an issue. I really had a good time here and met some nice people, 'cause interacting is quite easy since there are so many rooms so close to each other. This is a really fun place to stay, whether you're camping or in the hostel. Really nice clean bathrooms, great seating area next to the cafeteria to meet people and chill out. Free breakfast pretty good, just bread and jams really. A quick walk across the river to the town, but it really wasn't...

We really loved this hostel and had a great time. Great outdoor cafe area where we met lots of people. It wasn't in the centre of town but it was right by the river and it was an easy walk to the sights. Great breakfast but no lockers.

Great view but a little bit of a walk to the center of town...but it is a small town. The people were so nice and when I was leaving before breakfast the next morning she insisted on packing me some food to take with me. All and all I recomend it here.

A most unattractive hostel to stay in. Showers and toilets not clean. Noise and drunkenness of late comers. Very poor breakfast. No cooking facilities. Would recommend to anyone not to go there but to pay an extra 10 or 20 euro for a cheap hotel or guset house rather than experience this...

The staff in the reception with bad English skills and extremely bad attriude. Also, insects, dust and disgusting smell are expected in your room. The location are full of up stairs and down stairs. Besides, you cannot check in around 3:00pm and no storage for luggages. No hot water for bathroom.

Each bed has bugs and fleas! Everyone I talked to got bitten during the night! They overcharge you at the cafeteria and over internet, and the staff at the restaurant are rude and offer poor service.
