“ the location is very good if you are leaving for the airport (a bus can take you there in 30 mins). bus' are also very accessable and it is easy to get downtown. the woman working at the front desk at night is not very friendly but other than that it is a very good hostel. ”

“ In late october tourists aren't really expected. I didn't see anyone else staying at the hotel. I felt comfortable and safe, but only just. Fine for a one night stopover no more. A bar a block down was quite inviting, with a good atmosphere and friendly and helpful hosts. ”

Description of Miramare
Hotel Miramare is located in Voula, just 20 km from the center of Athens and near the beach of Apolonies Aktes.Note that by the entrance of the lobby there are 24 hour vending machines. With mini snacks and cakes sandwiches and cold and hot beverages We can say it is an AIRPORT-HOTEL because with the 24 hours service bus No X96 in 30 to 40 minut.max you are in the airport. Glyfada center is about one km far from the Hotel, where there is a big shopping center, and the area have plenty of restaurants, fast foods, cafeterias and night clubs. 01-06-2007 JUST FINISHED THE RANOVATION. It is also very close to the Lake of Vouliagmeni and the Cape Sounion where there is the temple of Posidon. Near by is the only Hospital of south Attica called ASKLIPIO. Also Vari area is cloased to us with the Special Tavernas called Vlahika where you can enjoy the Greek KOKORETSI,KONTOSOUVLI,TZATZIKI and many other specialites. In about 300 metters is the organized sea coast ,called THALASEA where you have to pay entrance fee but opposite the hotel the coast is FREE.Also near by is the night club GALEA.
