My mates and i had an excellent stay. Staff were pretty helpful and friendly. A bit out of the way of the centre though, but loads of places around to indulge in outside cafes, trendy people, a contemporary environment and a schmoke and a pancake.

This has been one of my favorite places to stay (double w/ bathroom - we got upgraded to a room w/ a bathroom). The place is nicely decorated/set up, the location is awesome with access to all the trams a block away... theres a bar down stairs, its clean and the staff are helpful. I'll probably...

Felt as though the rate was a bit much per person per night (even considering the time of year), but overall the hostel was very good and in an ideal location.

We booked a twin room with shared bathroom but ended up getting an upgrade to a room with a private toilet and shower anyway! Very clean; beds very comfortable! Good size room, had a window that opened onto the street, flat screen tv, ipod dock, and separate vanity. Cool theme and really helpful staff. It is a good central location so nothing is far on bike. You need key cards to get into the hotel so we felt safe. It was a great choice and I would definitely stay again!close

The rooms were a bit pricey, especially on the weekend, but we got an upgrade for no extra charge! We really enjoyed ourselves and the staff were friendly and helpful. The ipod docking station and flat screen TV were a definite bonus. Thanks!

Really nice bearded white guy on reception who was helpful. Not so sure about the bald, black guy he was almost disappointed to see us. A great hotel but was let down by the grumpy man.

the staff was really nice. beware breakfast is not included you have to pay the extra 9 euros. and the stairways are really steep! it is kind of out of the main part of amsterdam but its not soo bad. you can pretty much walk to where you need to be. other than that the stay was excellent!

Great hotel with a unique concept. It would've been perfect had the basement shower been finished. Also a little noisy for those with sensitive ears. All in all though we'd definitely choose this hotel again.

this hostel is completely renivated, looks awesome and has a fun feel. also has a bar that i think will be very fun when the hostel is complete. 2 blocks away from main road with lots of coffee shops and about a 10-15 min walk to red light distract. very nice, loved staying there.

It's a basic hostel, but provides what you need. The stairs are very steep and the lights didn't work in the room, but it was fine. There isn't a place to lock up your bags, so take them to the train station if you don't leave immediately after check-out. It's a bit of a walk to the center of the...
