The reception area is lovely with a large fish tank just on your left when you walk in and a lovely chandelier as a centre piece. While I wouldn’t’ exactly call the hotel 4 star standard it is probably what most European cities would class as 4 star! The staff were very friendly and the rooms clean and beds comfy. Not exactly the biggest of rooms but definitely served its purpose and was well equipped with a flat screen tv, ironing board and iron, safe etc and the bathroom was spacious with (the essential) 2 sinks! Our room was facing out onto the canal so had a lovely view.
The serve a buffet breakfast for €14 which consisted of cereals, meats, cheeses, breads, juices and of course the hot buffet.
The hotel has a small comfy bar and also serves complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate at any time of the day! If I was going back to Amsterdam it is certainly a place I would stay in again.close
