Ship is in a great location, right by the center and train station. Make sure to lock the door though; it is a ground level residence in the middle of a big city. And it IS a boat so expect it to rock a little bit when canal boats are passing! Beds were super comfy, owner was very helpful,...

Don't stay here! Save your money! This place is dirty, there are spiders, spider webs, and mosquitoes. The bathroom is rusted with a risk for tetanus and there is no light. The boat itself is great, we enjoy many beers on the upper deck waving at boats passing by. We had all the boat for ourselves for the weekend, the position is perfect. I strongly recommend it either for a romantic week end in two, or a fun week end with friends!

Don't waste your time at any other hostel or houseboat. The Beagle will be your best memory from Amsterdam. Looks like a piece from the outside, but I've never felt so at home. The beds were the most comfortable I've ever stayed in. AJ is super nice as well. My favorite part of the trip, hands down.
