"The apartment was lovely and reasonably priced. Location is fantastic - close to town. Only criticism I can make is that we got a basement apartment (was smart) but the agents running the letting did not inform the owners who lived above and we got woken in the middle of the night by the... more

Upon arrival we were advised we were not staying at Truelove. Instead we were booked into Heren's B&B along the road. This B&B was excellent, and it turned out we were very glad for the change :) Google this B&B instead for a nice room and great breakfast!

I had a fabulous time at this guesthouse. We arrived late at night and got a bit lost, and one of the guys who works there met up with us at the tram station and walked us over to our place. The room was actually on a different road from where the guesthouse actually is. Adorable, clean room,... more

We had to change our booking with little notice and the hostel managed to still accommodate us, which we were very greatful for. Apartment was cosy and homely. We had a blast in Amsterdam and will definitely be recommending Truelove to our friends.

The place was in reality a sort of independent mini-apartment in a central position. It wa not very clean and the mini kitchen was together with the mini bathroom(which i'd sy it's not the best choice for rooms placement imho). The staff was not very friendly or useful but overall i would... more

When we arrived the address we found out we were not staying at the address given, rather we had to walk a number of blocks with our luggage with a caretaker who seemed quite indifferent. The location is beautyful and residential. The cleanliness is not very good, and there was works around, with strong smoke smell, but the weak point is the staff, you can't find anyone to ask a information, or to complain about the smell.

Stayed in a room near the central station. Location was pretty good, the room was big, well equiped and decorated. The ony downside was that the room was on ground floor and the curtains had to be used to prevent people on the street from watching me.
