2. Hostal San Juan 84%      

   Right in front of the beach, but this is SAN JUAN and not ALICANTE, it takes a little while to get into town, and the trams stop at 10:30, leaving you SOL if you want to party at night and come back cheap. 4. Express by Holiday Inn Alicante 82%      

   nice hotel, a little far out of town tho. you need to catch a bus to/from town and you normally have to wair about half an hour. very close to quiter beach away from alicante. staff good, very clean

5. Hostal Pension la Milagrosa 78%      

   Perfect location in the old narrow streets of Alicante, just steps away from tapas bars and cerveceria's. Good beds and bathroom was clean. The friendly guy from the reception gave a lot of info.
