We know terms and conditions aren't exactly thrilling, but they have to be done. Please read these to know how boo.com operates and what you're agreeing to in signing up and using the boo website and service.

boo is delighted you're using the website. But as part of this there are some simple rules for you:
You are solely responsible for all the content and information you publish or transmit on boo.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity that occurs under your member account. If someone else uses your account, you are responsible, not boo.
boo is for people over 16 years old only. if you're not over 16, you should not register with boo. Not even if you're almost 16. Please have a little patience.
You promise to behave. Travel is fun and boo aims to be fun too. In that regard you agree:
You will not publish, promote, send otherwise transmit any illegal, vulgar, abusive, threatening, obscene, libellous or hateful content.
You will not impersonate, intimidate, harass or threaten any other boo members. You will not pretend to be someone you are not.
You will not publish, promote or otherwise transmit any content that you do not have the permission or right to do so.
You will not use the service or website for any illegal or unauthorised purposes, or to upload any form of unsolicited or unauthorised advertising.
You will not attempt to disrupt the boo service. You will not transmit any trojans, viruses or worms. You will not apply any malicious code or use any device, software or routine that attempts to exploit or stop the boo service or website from working.
If it is suspected or reported that you have done any of these, or violate any of the terms of use, boo reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account without recourse.
International members agree to comply with their respective local laws and statutes with respect to online conduct and acceptable content.
By registering with boo.com, you agree that neither boo.com nor its associates, subsidiaries, affiliates, offers, agents and other partners or employees is liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise from your participation in the service. This includes any damages, without limitation, arising out of communicating with other members registered with boo. Such damages include, without limitation, physical damages, bodily injury, financial loss, and/or emotional distress and discomfort.
Any use or misuse of this service by you is completely outside ot the control of boo.com and as such boo is not liable for any loss, damage, expense or breach of Intellectual property rights.

You have full control over who sees your personal page. Your personal page includes your upcoming itineraries, past itineraries, photos and reviews you have submitted to boo.com.
You give us the right to display your profile on boo.com (unless you choose to be a private member) and you give boo the right to put your photo and other content in appropriate areas of the website and, if you're lucky, on our home page to promote our service. If you inspire us, boo may want to use your photo or content for other things, but if so you will always be contacted first to make sure you agree.
As part of your personal profile, you may choose to submit additional information. To ensure an optimum experience, other non-personally identifiable data may also be collected, which may include your IP address and what browser you are using. This will allow us to improve our site and better understand and serve our users.
Your Buddies can see where you will be staying on your next trip if you have booked it on boo.com, where you have previously stayed and which places you recommend.
boo uses small text files called 'cookies' to allow you to sign back in to the boo website quickly and easily and to help personalise your experience. Cookies contain information that we can read when you revisit us. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your settings to reject them. If you do that, you may not be able to use some of our features which depend on cookies.
We may keep a copy of emails or letters that you send to us to help us deal with your queries and improve the way we do things.
boo.com site includes links to other sites. Those sites are not our responsibility and should have their own terms and conditions and data protection policies. You should read those terms and policies to find out how your information is used and protected over there.
No-one else will see your personal information unless you are asked first and boo will not use any of your personal stuff for any service or purpose other than what you want us to provide. The only exception to this rule is where we believe that the use or disclosure is necessary to comply with a law by law or in a good faith belief that such access preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with legal process, such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, or court order, or to protect the rights and property of boo.com, its affiliates or the public.
Please note that boo can't guarantee that all information published on this website is error free and so you acknowledge that the accommodation details and other information including information relating to travel services may include inaccuracies, despite our best efforts to make sure this is not so.

All words, pictures and logos already on our site belong to boo.com, its affiliates and their partners. Please don't steal them.
By posting Content and/or information to any part of the boo.com Website, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to boo.com an unrestricted, irrevocable, perpetual, transferable, royalty-free, non-exclusive, fully-paid worldwide license to use, copy, display, reformat, translate, distribute and otherwise use such Content and/or information and incorporate into other works or prepare derivative works of such Content and/or information, and to grant and authorise sublicenses of the Content and/or information where appropriate.
Also by posting content on boo.com you declare that your submission is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to boo.com for all the purposes specified above. boo.com is absolutely free to use. This includes uploading photos, creating blogs, searching for accommodation or travel options abroad.
boo is a family friendly site and any adult content will be removed as early as possible.
From time to time we will send you emails to communicate news and updates to you. There is no charge to you for this and if you don't want this stuff just follow the 'unsubscribe' instructions.
All queries to boo will be acknowledged within 24 hours of receipt during the week and within 72 hours of receipt at weekends. Please remember to supply us with as much information as you can (booking references, dates etc) to help us deal with your query.
We will do our best to ensure that you can always use and enjoy boo as it is intended to be used. However, due to the nature of the Internet and the international aspect of boo, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, your access to the service may be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow us to update or service or fix errors. We don't think this will be very often and we'll tell the techies to do it at night when you're in bed getting a good sleep.
To keep up to speed we may need to make changes to what we do which means we can change our service, website, policies and terms and conditions at any time. You can be sure we will try not to, but if it's necessary, these changes will apply to you once they go live.
We may, but aren't obliged, to monitor the materials posted in the public areas of this service. If we want to, we can remove anything that we think is bad stuff.
