You have full control over who sees your personal page. Your personal page includes your upcoming itineraries, past itineraries, photos and reviews you have submitted to boo.com.

Each member has two options when choosing their "privacy details":

1. Level 1 - Private Access
Keep your personal page private. Nobody registered with boo.com can see any of your itineraries, booking details, photos or reviews..

2. Level 2 - Public Access
Your personal page will be available to everyone registered with boo. You can share your itineraries, photos and reviews with other travellers..

You can block "buddies" at any time from accessing your information.

Your email address will only be used in the following circumstances

  • When you log in to your account, you can log in using your email address and your password.
  • When you are searching for a buddy you can search for them by email address, full name or username.
  • When a member invites one of their friends, or someone they know, to be their travel buddy.
  • When a member invites a friend to become a member of boo.com
  • When we send notifications/ news to members

Except when inviting or adding "buddies", your email address will never be shared with or displayed to any other person.

Reviewing and Changing Your Profile

You can review and revise your personal profile, and who will be given access to your personal profile, at any time.

WHO SEES YOUR INFORMATION

boo is required to send your information to the travel services provider with which you booked travel services so that the travel service provider knows who you are and when you will use its travel services. boo gives your name, your nationality, your gender (or the gender of the group you are in), your phone number, your email address, your credit card details and of course, the details of your booking.

The travel service provider requires this information to accept a confirmed booking from you. All travel service providers on whose behalf bookings are facilitated have agreed to the boo.com terms and conditions and accept this privacy policy.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Your email address will only be used occasionally to inform you of new features on boo.com or to send you the monthly boo ezine.


boo.com may acquire personal data and information about you which you have registered with the site. In this regard, boo promises to only use your data in complete accordance with the following conditions:
